The 11th annual Alabama Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will be observed Feb. 25 - 27. The tax holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25 and continue until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.
The ninth annual Alabama Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will be observed Feb. 21 - 23. The tax holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday Feb. 21 and continue until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.
The eighth annual Alabama Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will be observed Feb. 22-24. The tax holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday Feb. 22 and continue until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24. The towns of Berry and Fayette are participating in the tax holiday, and Fayette County is also participating, which means that no sales tax will be charged on covered items in those areas during the holiday. Glen Allen has chosen not to participate in the sales tax holiday this year.
The Municipalities of Fayette and Berry, in conjunction with Fayette County and the State of Alabama, will participate in the annual school sales tax holiday on July 20-22. This is the 13th year that Alabama has held the tax holiday, and the second time that the event has been held in July. The sales tax holiday will begin on Friday, July 20 at 12:01 a.m. and end on Sunday, July 22 at 11:59 p.m.
