Bevill State goes two out of three in five-game stretch

Bevill State split a five-game stretch last week, opening with back-to-back wins before dropping three straight to the Enterprise State Boll Weevils. Bevill 5, Shelton 4 The Bears edged the Shelton Bucs 2026 5-4 on April 20, building an early lead and holding on late. Bevill State scored three runs in the first inning, highlighted by an RBI single from Kyle Nunnally, and added another run on a wild pitch in the third to go up 5-1. Landon Fike earned the win, allowing just one hit over two innings while striking out three. Cale Tittle picked up the save. Gresham Baker and Nunnally led the offense with two hits each, while the Bears showed patience at the plate with eight walks and aggressive baserunning, including three stolen bases from Baker.
