Berry Wildcats defeat Brillant, Lady Tigers earn win over Hubbertville

Fayette County High School Varsity Girls

• On Jan. 2, the Lady Tigers won 69-64 against Carbon Hill.
• On. Jan. 5, the Tigers defeated Hubbertville 39-33.
• On Jan. 6, the Lady Tigers earned their first area victory with a 47-31 win over Haleyville. 

Fayette Co. High School Varsity Boys

• On Jan. 2, the Tigers won 62-37 against Carbon Hill.
• On Jan. 5, Fayette lost 67-48 to Hubbertville. 
• On Jan. 6, the Fayette Tigers defeated Haleyville 69-61.

Berry Varsity Girls

• On Jan. 5, the Lady Wildcats lost to Brilliant 50-18.
• On Jan. 8, Berry lost to Lynn 44-22.
• On Jan. 9 - the Lady Wildcats lost to Hubbertville 53- 21.

Berry Varsity Boys

• On Jan. 5, the Wildcats defeated Brilliant 71-30.
• On Jan. 8, Berry defeated Lynn 66-22.

Hubbertville Varsity Girls

• On Jan. 5, the Lady Lions lost to Fayette County, 39- 33.
• On Jan. 6, the Lions lost to the Brillant Tigers 56- 36.
• On Jan. 8, the Lady Lions were narrowly defeated by Sumiton Christian 41-40.

Hubbertville Varsity Boys

• On Jan. 5, the Lions defeated Fayette County 67- 48.
• On Jan. 6, Hubbertville earned a 56-36 win against Brillant.
• On Jan. 8, the Lions won against Sumiton Christian 83-39.
