Fayette Medical Center (FMC) Hospital Board Members were on hand to receive a check in the amount of $424,307.98 from the city council for upgrades to FMC. The Fayette City Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at city hall with all members present. The session opened with a prayer led by Pastor Kent Shepherd of Southside Baptist Church, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stephen Fulmer.
