REQUEST FOR BDS
The City of Fayette is requesting bids for the clearing of Bill’s Trail which runs along the old railroad bed between Martin Luther King Drive and Taylor Road. This section is approximately 1.7 miles long and has many fallen trees, overgrowth, and excessive vegetation. The bid should include, but is not limited to the following:
• Removal of fallen trees, root balls, deadfall, vines, brush, and dense overgrowth
• Use of Forestry Mulcher to process small trees, brush, vines, etc
• Distribution of mulch in cleared areas
• Cleaning of all drainage crossings
• Removal of any materials which cannot be mulched
Please submit bids to Fayette City Hall at 203 Temple Avenue N, Fayette, AL 35555. Bids will be accepted until 12:00 PM on Friday, October 23.
The successful bidder must have liability insurance coverage of a minimum of $1,000,000.
