The Fayette County Republicans will meet Tuesday, March 10  at 7 p.m. at  Fayette Civic Center. The guest speaker will be Steve Lolley, candidate for State Auditor. All are welcome to attend.

PALESTINE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2077 Palestine Rd., Fayette, will have a singing on Sunday, March 15 at 3:30 p.m. The guest singers will be Milborn Savage and the Masterpieces. Rev. Charlie Humphrey is the pastor. Everyone is welcome.

PALESTINE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, located on Hwy. 159, will have a revival Monday, March 9 through Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. Monday’s speaker will be Rev. Cobb of Hodges Chapel. Tuesday’s speaker will be Major Charleston of First Baptist. Wednesday’s speaker will be Rev. Jerry Bridges of Peaceful Rest.

SHADY GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 5173 Co. Rd. 100, Fayette, will celebrate the first pastoral appreciation honoring Rev. Timothy L. Whitson and First Lady Stacie Whitson on Sunday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. The theme is “Faithful to the Call, Fruitful in the Work” (1 Corinthians 4:2). Worship will be at 10 a.m. Guest preacher Pastor Willie Moore will bring the message. A fellowship meal will follow. Guest Preacher Pastor Corey Savage, M.Div. will bring the 2:30 p.m. message. 

FAYETTE FIRST FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH, 910 Temple Ave. N., Fayette will present “Messiah in the Passover” on Sunday, March 8 at 5 p.m. The visual presentation will be conducted by Missionary Chris Kanpol of Chosen People Ministries. The presentation gives the Christian community insight into Jewish traditions so that the Jewish roots of Christianity can be better understood. The experience also helps both Jewish and Christian communities understand their common heritage. It is open to the public. Both the Christian and Jewish communities are invited to attend.

Whites Chapel Church of Christ, 5121 Co. Rd. 24, Eldridge, will have a gospel meeting on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be Vance Hutton. 

ST. MICHAEL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH will have Stations of the Cross Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in Lent, February 25 through March 25. It will be followed by soup and salad and guest speakers.

Restoration Springs will hold a sunrise service on Sunday, April 5 at 6 a.m.

Restoration Springs graduation will be held Sunday, March 22 from 3 until 4 p.m. at Fayette First Methodist.

Champion Brothers ”Bringing It Back” will be held Saturday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Fayette Civic Center, 530 Temple Ave. N., Fayette. It will feature the legendary Chuck Wagon Gang “Celebrating 90 Years of Ministry” along with host groups Faithful Friends and Chosen Witness. There will be no admission charge. The Fayette Co. High School class of 1981 will have their 45th class reunion on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. If you have not already registered, please do so. There is a fee of $35 per person or $50 per couple. The fee includes dinner on Friday evening at Fayette Civic Center and lunch on Saturday at Fayette Middle School.

Appointments will be available Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. beginning on February 6 and lasting through the tax season.
