Wildcats stay on winning track 16-14

The Berry Wildcats were looking to stay on the winning track and play spoiler on Homecoming as they traveled to Vernon to face the Lamar County Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs got out to an early lead by keeping the ball on the ground and controlling the clock. The Wildcats fought back as the teams exchanged scores and took a close game 16 - 14.

Wildcats defeat Pirates 51-28

The Wildcats kicked off their 2025 campaign by traveling to Carrollton to face the Pickens Academy Pirates. The Berry defense staked the Wildcats to an early lead and senior running back Lake Norris scored five touchdowns as Berry cruised to a 51-28 victory. This marked the third year in a row that the Wildcats started with a win and it was Coach Danny Raines’s 150th career victory as a head coach.

Wildcats win 58-25 against Pickens Academy Pirates

The Wildcats kicked off their 2024 campaign by hosting the Pickens Academy Pirates in the first ever meeting between the two schools as the Pirates moved to the AHSAA from AISA. Before the kickoff, both teams and the assembled fans paused for a moment of silence for Caden Tellier, the Morgan Academy quarterback who passed away after sustaining injuries in his team’s game last week.
