The Kirkland Bluff Wayside Volunteer Fire Dept. will hold a fundraising whiffle ball tournament Saturday, Oct. 3 at Fenway at Faith, 161 Pike Rd., Winfield beginning at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $150. Gate fees are $5 per person. This findraiser will help the fire department raise funds for a matching portion of a FEMA grant they received to purchase protective gear for the first time in 20 years.
