LORRAINE WHITLEY

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine T. Whitley, age 89, were held Sunday, Oct.19, 2025, at 2 p.m. from Sand Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.  She died Sunday,Oct. 12, 2025.
She was employed for over 30 years by First National Bank, which evolved into Regions Bank. She and her husband raised their children in a Christian home. She loved her family and church family. She prayed for them daily. She was very knowledgeable of the Bible.
She loved to read and enjoyed growing vegetables and trees in her later years. Her main concern was leading the children in her life and the people in her life to Jesus. She was an active member of Sand Springs Baptist Church for 67 years.
She was preceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Terry D, Whitley; her parents, Carver and Katherine Tucker; and her brother, Richard D. Tucker.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Wayne)Nelson, Dale (Fatima) Whitley and Karen (Jimmy) Bozeman; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was a much loved mother and grandmother to others. She loved and was loved by a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Bozeman, Issac Bozeman, Tom Whitley, Scott Cribb, Zachary Whitley and Bobby Crowell.
