Funeral services for Mrs. Julie Annette Pennington Traweek, age 61, of Berry, were held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 7 p.m. Viewing was June 8 from 5-6 p.m. for family and 6-7 p.m. for friends at Nelson Funeral Home in Fayyette. Mrs. Traweek died Sunday, June 6 at Hospice of West Alabama at 12:45 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Eugene Pennington of Berry.

Survivors include her mother, Dora Lee Pennington of Berry; her brother, Kenneth Pennington; husband, Kenneth Traweek of Berry; daughters, Kelly (Richard) Adams, and  Karen Westbrook of Berry; sons, Kevin (Kristy) Traweek, and  Kody Traweek, all of Berry; eight grandchildren, Kristen, Kaleb, Kolton, Tra, Kali, Kevin, Hershel, and Isabelle; one great-grandchildren, Victoria.

Mrs. Traweek was born August 6, 1959. She was a great nurse who cared for all, but was an even better wife and mother. She will be greatly missed.
