Parade at Morningview

After several weeks of having to quarantine residents due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Morningview Estates hosted a parade that allowed friends and family members to drive-through the parking lot to speak and wave to the residents. Approximately 100 brightly-decorated vehicles participated in the parade on Friday, June 5, much to the delight of both the residents and their family members.

FMC Long-Term Care hosts drive-through parade


Shown are staff members of the facility, telling the residents that they are their heroes. Many signs seen during the parade praised the workers as the real heroes for taking care of the residents.

The residents and staff at Fayette Medical Center’s Long-Term Care facility enjoyed a drive-through parade in their honor on Friday, May 15. After most residents had been secluded from friends and family members for almost two months during the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the community turned out to thank the long-term care workers and greet the residents. Seventy-eight vehicles paraded through the parking lot, with most of the vehicles adorned with balloons and signs telling their family members how much they have missed seeing them during the pandemic.

Berry holds Christmas Parade

The Town of Berry held its annual Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 6. The Berry High School Marching Band performed in the parade, along with several colorful and festive nentries.

Fayette holds annual Christmas parade

The Fayette Christmas parade was held in downtown Fayette on Monday, Dec. 3. The Fayette County High School band performed and their were many festive and spiritual entries in the parade.
