MARGUERITE MOSTILLER

Mrs. Marguerite Mostiller, age 82 of Fayette, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Fayette Long Term Care. The family held a private service.
Marguerite was well known for her love of cooking and always cherished the opportunity to provide nothing short of perfect meals for her family and friends. She placed first in numerous cooking competitions as well as having one of her recipes published in Paula Deen’s magazine, Cooking with Paula Deen. Beyond cooking, she was an avid gardener and always displayed a yard full of beautiful flowers for everyone to enjoy.
Her life was a true testament to God’s grace, and she was a faithful member of the Fayette Church of God until her health began to decline. She will truly be missed beyond measure by those who loved her the most.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Victor and Velma Fowler Freeman.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Malcolm Mostiller of Fayette; sons, Darren Mostiller of Baton Rouge, La. and Jason Mostiller of Northport;  and daughter, Shannon Mostiller of Fayette.
